1.
What is the course exactly?
Dealer Training is online.
The entire training
course with videos and
photos is online. There
is NOTHING that comes
in the mail and starting
on 11/10/07 you no longer
have to download anything,
simply receive a password
and login information
to access the online
course.
Each step of the deal
is comprehensively
covered and explained.
Everything from suiting
the cards to pushing
the pot. You'll learn
all the basics like
how your fingers should
be placed on the cards,
where your thumb should
be in relation to your
pinky, to advanced topics
like how to take
a rake, split pots and
side pots. We'll
show you where to find
a job, how to make more
money in the poker world,
how to improve your
poker play and much,
much more.
2. How
long does the course
take?
You learn at
your own pace. Find
the schedule that is
most
comfortable
for you
and you will succeed.
Beginner
25 hours of study
- You'll have read through
all of the text and
completed the practice
lessons. You'll already
be a much better dealer
than your friends, the
difference will be easily
noticable when you deal.
Don't plan on sitting
down at the big stakes
table yet, but you will
easily be able to get
a job with a local poker
club at one of the many
weekly poker nights
in your area. (we show
you how to find these
tables, don't worry).
Advanced
60 Hours of Study
- You'll have logged
some serious practice
and table time by this
point. You're ready
to move up and start
dealing final tables
and even probing the
private table job market.
You're a better dealer
than the vast majority
of the dealers in your
area and a savvy private
game owner will eagerly
schedule you in for
one of his lower level
nights. Charity events
are another great employment
avenue. You're on the
doorstep of starting
to earn excellent money.
Professional
100+ Hours of Study
+ You'll have a solid
grasp on the art of
dealing and you're probably
getting asked to deal
at many private tables,
events and functions.
If you're planning on
working on the casino
audition then you are
in the right direction.
We are adding more about
more about preparing
for a casino table audition
in the course over the
next few weeks.
There are no time limits
on the course and no
monthly subscription
fees. You learn at your
pace!
3. What
qualifies you to teach
poker dealing?
We worked with
a professional casino
poker dealer named Tami
D, who now deals part
time at the Bellagio
in Las Vegas. If you
are familiar with the
Bellagio, they are known
as having the best poker
dealers in Vegas. You
can meet Tami in the
videos. We also have
trained over 650 professional
dealers since our course
launch in January of
2005. The course follows
all professional poker
dealer and extensive
casino systems, processes
and procedures.
We've proven results
with the quality dealers
within the Atlanta Poker
Club and the rapidly
growing number of
satisifed Dealer Training
clients show that our
system works (650+ trained
dealers).
Remember, It's 100%
risk free to try
if you're skeptical.
100% money back guarantee
for 1 full year.
4. How
will I find work?
Finding a job dealing
poker is different than
finding a typical job,
we understand that.
That is why we dedicate
an entire chapter towards
showing you how to find
a table to deal in your
area. There are tables
out there, and the demand
is just beginning to
grow.
5. How
did this all come about?
Long story short is
we started a free poker
league in Atlanta and
needed our own dealers.
We couldn't afford to
send them to the land
based training schools
(honest answer is we
couldn't even afford
to send ourselves to
the land based poker
dealing schools, they
are expensive!). Tami
D, who was a professional
poker dealer who had
moved to Georgia and
found out about our
club.
6. Is
there a way that I could
see a small example
of what is in the course
before buying?
Absolutely, we've recently
added a quick
demo.
7. Will
I get a Certificate
of Completion?
Yes, once you request
it. Dealer Training
Certificates are free
of charge for clients
who have enrolled and
completed the Dealer
Training course. You
will receive all the
information needed to
request a certificate
when you have completed
the course. For specific
questions or to see
an example certificate,
email us at certificates@dealer-training.com.
Note: Students
will be asked to prove
their dealing abilities
before a certificate
and letter are awarded.
A word of caution
- we strongly advise
against purchasing the
course and requesting
a certificate without
putting in the study
and practice time. Your
actual skill level will
be obvious within the
first few minutes of
the table audition regardless
of the certificate in
your hand.
8.
Is there a help available
for questions that might
arise in the course?
You can email us 24/7
at support@dealer-training.com
with any specific questions,
or simply put a post
in the Dealer
Training Support Forum
and we'll be glad to
help. For general questions
and help with a unique
situation, we've created
a Poker
Rules and Etiquette
section of our active
forum where you can
ask us (and other dealers)
questions in an open
forum.The course also
provides information
and links to many other
quality forums where
answers and help can
be found.
9. Is
the course Hold'em specific
or does it also handle
Stud, Omaha and other
games?
The mechanics and
techniques are universal
across all games.
The course is written
as Texas
Holdem specific,
but there are two videos
on dealing Omaha and
7 Card Stud. It is easy
to learn other games
after mastering Texas
Hold'Em. Future upgrades
to the course will detail
other forms of poker.
Don't
forget, Dealers who
enroll this month will
have lifetime upgrades
included with their
purchase at no additional
charge.
10.
Is Dealer Training Mac
compatible? YES
- there is nothing to
download, just an online
web site that requires
your unique password
and login.
